I’m a content designer, UX generalist, and sense-maker.
About me
I’m a product and web content designer and UX professional living in Vermont. Outside of work, you can find me hiking with my dog, paddle boarding, or working on projects on our “homestead.”
My approach
How I strategize
I start my projects by combining research, content and design principles, user needs, and business goals into clear and concise content strategies. And I keep these strategies at the forefront whenever I share content design work with peers and stakeholders, being sure to speak to the insights that drive each content decision.
How I design content
I use words to build clear and concise product and web experiences. My content work comes to life through content flows, slide decks, copy documents, and Figma mocks.
I bring a narrative lens to problem spaces to uncover themes and patterns and define new concepts. I create effective designs by exploring hierarchy, sequencing, and language. And I create and employ style guidelines and patterns to deliver polished end-to-end content.
How I teach
I believe that everyone can and should write. I find joy in helping other crafters develop writing and information architecture skills. I thrive in environments where I can “pair” or collaborate in real-time with others on design and technical challenges. This is how I learn from others, strengthen designs, and empower my collaborators to think “content-first.”
